Day 14 -- Lessons Learned -- Week 2

I feel really good about this week. I have definitely made in improvements in my life style, but I think there are still some things that I can do much better. Lets take a walk down memory lane to discuss this week's highs and lows.

Lesson 1: Leave the hubby alone -- You know the saying "A happy wife equals a happy life", well trust me you don't want a grumpy husband either. So I have decided not to press my husband about his eating habits. This is my journey and something I want to do for myself, and he can just support me from the side lines.

Lesson 2: Slow down -- I eat to fast. Sometimes I eat so much before my stomach has had an opportunity to really assess how full it is, so I end up over eating. In addition, sometimes I don't chew my food and I also give myself horrible gas.

Lesson 3: If you mess up don't give up -- I was so disappointed that I ate the hamburger, but I had to realize that it was not a big deal. As long as I make adjustments in my meals and exercise along the way, treating me self every now and then is fine.

Tomorrow is weighing day!!! Can't wait!
